Conscious Dying
End of Life Doula or Death Doulas provide non-medical, holistic support and comfort to the dying person and their loved ones, which may include but not be limited to; education, guidance, as well as emotional, spiritual, and practical care, from as early as initial diagnosis through bereavement. Doulas are the missing link in our care system, helping us to honor death as an integral and sacred part of life.
What is an end of life Doula?
Services
“My Mother was a private person and wanted zero fuss regarding her passing. Robyn facilitated a bedside service with my sisters and me that included sacred anointing & washing as we honored my mother that was better that any funeral I ever attended. It was the closure we all needed while still honoring my mother’s wishes.” Paulette Perkins

Why is an end of life Doula Helpful?
Doula’s at the end of life may seem like a new progressive idea, but they have been around as long as death. It is only in the last 100 years that our western Culture has relinquished personal and familial care of our dying. Some of this unavoidable of course and yet for others it is simply a lack of conscious planning, it often takes a village to create a comfortable home death.
A death doula is a trained professional that provides guidance with holistic services to individuals and their families during the transformative life changes. Doula-client relationship addresses and advocates for the physical, spiritual, emotional, mental, and practical needs of the individual.
Using a Vision Map, Embodiment Practices and Inquiry Robyn will listen and explore with each person their need to feel complete across these domains of life. Mapping out a plan to achieve their vision not only alleviates fear and worry, it serves as a template for caretakers to honor.
